I’ve recently discovered the 16th century philosopher Michel De Montaigne, and have become fascinated to know, at the age of 38 he retired from public view to spend the rest of his life reading, reflecting, and writing. His contemporaries viewed him as self-indulgent, unfazed he would reply, “Que sais-je?” (what do I know?). Since I don’t have the means to lock myself away in a castle library, which would contain some 15,000 works - I am here, 37 and starting my own blog, into a blogosphere that contains 112.8 million blogs, 175,000 new blogs added every day, which is 2 blogs a second. Hmm…Looks like I might have access to more than Old Montaigne did himself. I’m curious to find out…….
